Think of an I.T. company like a mechanic. You wouldn't hesitate to take your car in for the regular maintenance required to keep it running smoothly. That way every time you start it...it starts. Now that isn't to say that you won't have problems still. Lots of parts ensures breakdown at some point but you will prevent a lot of unnecessary costs because you cared enough to protect it.
You care about your pictures, don't you? Videos from the last road trip? Financial or Client data? Everyone has something on their computer worth keeping, or quite frankly we wouldn't keep it.

I wanted to write this because I know that you aren't shopping for an I.T. company but rather an I.T. company that cares. Here at Response I.T. we do just that. We Care! This article will help you make an informed decision on just who you are going to call when trouble happens.
We care about you, your wallet, your computers, your business and your home computing security. Now before I go further I should explain that when I say we care about your wallet, we don't mean we want everything in it. Sure, we want some, but we would rather save you money then show you a million reasons to spend it willy nilly. We will show you some great reasons why you should invest money in your I.T. solutions, but we will help you more by helping you get the most out of your current gear.

Responding to Community Needs Program |

|
May 8 2007
Response I.T. has since its inception taken a philosophy of returning back into the community some of it’s time, assets and skills to further the advancement and well being of the area and the people who live here. Some of these examples are:
Responding to community needs program
Computer recycling program:
The company and its technicians work on donated computers from its client base and then return these computers to local organizations like
- The Big Brothers and Big Sisters clubs that received this year alone 25 complete computer packages for their facility.
- Various local daycares now have computers for simple computer programs that beginners and young children can work from and learn new skills and have fun.
- Individuals in the community be it single mothers, senior citizens or parents who have children but can’t keep up with the price of computers receive computer components and complete systems to give them what they need to succeed in school and elsewhere.
Computer parts, printers etc that are no longer useful are passed onto a local electronics recycling company that recycles the individual electronics allowing us to divert electronic components from reaching the local landfill.

Regular Maintenance and Prevention Show
Data & Disaster Recovery
•Do you have regular reliable backups?
•Do you think that a proper backup system is expensive?
•How long could you go without your information?
Those are the questions that we can answer
We can verify your backup on a regular basis or teach you how to verify them yourself.
Depending on the volume of information to be backed up you may already have all the hardware you need.
Did you know that the law requires you to keep an off-site backup of your accounting data? Without this, Revenue Canada can dictate to you what they think you sold this year for tax purposes.
